The William Frederick Shiraz, our pinnacle wine, is made in strictly limited-release numbers. With this wine, we are delighted to deliver wine-making excellence, most suited to your fine wine collection.

Named in honour of Trevor’s late father, William Frederick Harch(1910 – 1976), this cool climate single vineyard Eden Valley Shiraz is the pride of our vineyard – seamless and delicately crafted from only our finest parcels of fruit. Our estate-grown grapes are hand-picked from 90-year-old vines.

Cellar under the right condition with confidence for up to 15-20 years.

Aroma:

the aromatics are dense, intense, complex, savoury and spicy, with a volley of violet/spring blossom florals popping over the top.

Palate

Lavish blackberry, black cherry liqueur and plum flavours take centre stage with subtle black olive, clove and mint notes forming an alliance on the perimeter. There are notes of vanilla and cinnamon from oak influence to be found amongst the spice and white pepper along the fine gripping tannin finish.
